Noah Fant absent from Broncos practice due to rib injury
Denver Broncos tight end Noah Fant (ribs) did not practice on Wednesday.
Fant had previously been dealing with a high-ankle sprain, so this is a new injury. The Broncos could potentially just be managing Fant's reps after he played a season-high 84.5 percent of the offensive snaps in last week's lopsided loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. It was a disappointing effort, as the 2019 first-round selection caught only 3 passes on 7 targets for a season-low 18 yards. The matchup won't be any easier in Week 11 against the Miami Dolphins' elite defense.
Fant is the TE10 in numberFire's Week 11 fantasy rankings. Our models project him for 7.5 FanDuel points and he has a salary of $5,700 on the main slate. The Dolphins are allowing the fourth-fewest yards (38.1) and 10th-fewest FanDuel points per game (8.3) to the tight end position this season.
