What It Means:

Adam Schefter of ESPN reported earlier this week that McCaffrey is unlikely to play Week 11 against the Detroit Lions, so this doesn't come as a surprise. Mike Davis will retain three-down duties in the Panthers' backfield for at least another week. His production has slowed down recently following a blistering start and Curtis Samuel has become more involved, but the Lions provide a fantastic matchup on Sunday.

Davis is averaging just 7.8 FanDuel points over his last four starts after putting up an elite 21.4 points per game in his first three turns as the Panthers' lead back. Even if Samuel continues to siphon away opportunities, Davis should still see a double-digit workload versus a Lions defense allowing the most FanDuel points per game to the running back position. He's the RB9 in numberFire's Week 11 fantasy rankings and has a salary of $7,400 on FanDuel's main slate.
