Chiefs expected to sign Deandre Baker to practice squad
The Kanas City Chiefs are expected to sign former New York Giants defensive back Deandre Baker to their practice squad.
Baker, the 30th overall selection in 2019's NFL draft by the Giants, is headed for a visit with the Chiefs and, barring a snag, is expected to sign to their practice squad. Baker is available to sign for a team after charges against him stemming from an offseason incident were dropped.
Baker played 16 games for the Giants in his rookie season in 2019 and finished as Pro Football Focus' 183rd graded cornerback.
