Justin Jackson (knee) officially out for Chargers versus Dolphins

Los Angeles Chargers running back Justin Jackson (knee) won't play in Week 10 against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.

What It Means:

Jackson didn't practice all week after leaving last Sunday's game early with a knee injury. The Chargers will utilize a three-man committee of Joshua Kelley, Troymaine Pope (concussion, questionable), and Kalen Ballage versus the Dolphins. Offensive coordinator Shane Steichen said the "flow of the game" will determine the backfield rotation versus the Dolphins.

Kelley is the RB35, Ballage is the RB42, and Pope is the RB46 in numberFire's Week 10 fantasy rankings. Kelley has a salary of $5,200 on FanDuel's main slate and our models believe he offers the best value among the three backs, followed by Pope ($4,500) and Ballage ($5,300). The Dolphins have a bit of a run funnel defense as they fare much better against the pass (1st) than the run (17th), according to numberFire's advanced team rankings.
