Giants place Devonta Freeman (ankle, hamstring) on injured reserve
New York Giants running back Devonta Freeman (ankle, hamstring) was placed on Injured Reserve on Friday.
Freeman will be eligible to return in three weeks after the Giants placed their veteran back on injured reserve with ankle and hamstring injuries. Expect Wayne Gallman to play an increased role while Freeman is sidelined.
Gallman's current Week 10 projection against the Philadelphia Eagles includes 12.6 rushing attempts for 50.7 yards and 2.2 receptions for 14.5 yards.
