Cardinals' Kenyan Drake (ankle) officially limited in return to practice Wednesday
Arizona Cardinals running back Kenyan Drake was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday.
It was reported earlier that Drake was spotted at practice, and now he's officially been given a limited tag. Obviously it would've been nicer to see the veteran rusher get in a full session, but a return to practice in any form is still a good sign. Drake originally injured his ankle two and a half weeks ago in the win over the Dallas Cowboys, and now it seems as though he's on track to return against the Buffalo Bills in Week 10. Keep an eye on his status over the next few days. Chase Edmonds figures to see a sizable role even in if Drake is active, as the Cardinals may decide to ease him back into a larger workload.
The Bills currently rank 25th in the NFL in adjusted net expected points allowed per run play.
