Colts' T.Y. Hilton feels like he's "close" to a breakout game heading into Week 8's clash with Detroit

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton told the media this week that he feels like he's close to a breakout game after a slow start to the season.

What It Means:

Hilton was asked if he felt like he was close to a breakout game, or if he cared about that as long as the Colts were winning. He responded by saying "both, if I have a breakout game I feel like we will win, I feel like I'm close. Just gotta play through the calls, sometimes I get um sometimes I don't but just gotta play through it. Create my separation and just make it clear for me and I'm ready to go." Hilton will have a decent chance at a breakout game in Week 8, facing a Lions defense ranked 23rd against wide receivers in numberFire's advanced stats. Our models project Hilton to see 7.1 targets against Detroit in Week 8.

The Colts are 3.0-point favorites over the Detroit Lions in Week 8. Their implied team total of 26.5 points is the sixth-highest team total on Sunday's main slate, according to numberFire's DFS Heat Map. Hilton's projection includes 4.2 receptions, 61.3 yards, 0.31 touchdowns, and 10.2 FanDuel points. His salary is $5,500 and he is the WR24 in our weekly rankings.
