Dalvin Cook (groin) expected to return for Vikings Week 8
Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook (groin) is expected to return for Sunday's Week 8 game against the Green Bay Packers.
Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer said Cook will practice Wednesday for the first time since injuring his groin in Week 5. Cook is averaging 25.0 touches and 144.7 scrimmage yards over his last three games. Alexander Mattison will return to backup duties if Cook is indeed active on Sunday.
Cook is the RB5 in numberFire's Week 8 fantasy rankings. Our models project him to score 16.6 FanDuel points and he has a salary of $9,200. The Packers have the No. 23 rush defense in our advanced team rankings.
