Eagles designate Dallas Goedert (ankle) to return
The Philadelphia Eagles designated tight end Dallas Goedert (ankle) to return.
Goedert is expected to return to game action after the Eagles' Week 9 bye. The third-year tight end led the Eagles with 17 targets and 131 yards over the first two games before injuring his ankle in Week 3. Travis Fulgham has since taken over as the Eagles' top pass-catcher with 10-plus targets in three straight games. The Eagles also designated Jalen Reagor (thumb) to return earlier this week. Zach Ertz (ankle) is still on injured reserve, so Richard Rodgers will be Philadelphia's TE1 again in Week 8 against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night.
Rodgers led the Eagles in receptions (6) and yards (85) while drawing the second-most targets (8) last Thursday as the starting tight end. The Cowboys are allowing 12.4 FanDuel points to opposing tight ends this season.
