Arians said all three of Evans, Chris Godwin (hamstring), and Scotty Miller (hip) have been playing at less than full health. “They’re hurting,” Arians said of his ailing receivers. He then caught just 2 passes on 2 targets for 37 yards. Godwin has been ruled out for Week 8 against the New York Giants on Monday night after he fractured his index finger last game. Assuming Evans continues to play through his injury, he should see an uptick in targets without Godwin available in an advantageous matchup.
