Eagles' Miles Sanders (knee) not expected to face Giants in Week 7
Philadelphia Eagles running back Miles Sanders is not expected to play Thursday night in the team's Week 7 game against the New York Giants, according to ESPN's Chris Mortensen.
Sanders was knocked out of Sunday's loss to the Baltimore Ravens early due to the knee issue, and it seems as though it'll keep him out at least one game - the severity hasn't been announced just yet. Whether the absence is capped at just Thursday or whether it goes beyond that, Boston Scott is now in line to be the featured back in Philadelphia's offense.
In 5 games this season, Sanders has 71 carries for 434 yards and 3 touchdowns. He's also added 12 catches for 91 yards.
