Dolphins' Preston Williams "starting to get more comfortable" with knee
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Preston Williams said he's "starting to get more comfortable" with his knee as he approaches the one-year mark since he tore his ACL.
Williams has been slow to start so far this season, but finally looked like his old self in the team's upset victory over the San Francisco 49ers. The second-year receiver noted that he had been "falling off some routes" routes earlier in the year, but that he's feeling stronger and more confident in his surgically repaired knee.
To illustrate his slow start, Williams had more receiving yards in Week 5 (106) and as many touchdowns (1) as he did in each of the previous 4 weeks combined, even despite playing on just 60% of the team's offensive snaps. If Williams fell off of your fantasy radar earlier this season, he should make his way back onto it heading into Week 6.
