Davante Adams (hamstring) 'doesn't look great' for Packers in Week 3
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams (hamstring) "doesn't look great" for Week 3 against the New Orleans Saints, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Adams was limited to just 3 catches on 3 targets for 36 yards in Week 2 because of the injury after racking up a league-high 17 targets for 156 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the opener. Allen Lazard and Marquez Valdes-Scantling will both be in line for more volume if Adams is sidelined on Sunday. Aaron Jones would also benefit after leading the Packers in all receiving categories in Week 2.
The Saints rank 15th in pass defense, per numberFire's advanced metrics. Lazard has added the third-most Reception Net Expected Points per target through two games among all receivers with at least 5 targets.
