Chris Godwin (concussion) cleared for Buccaneers in Week 3
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin has cleared the concussion protocol.
Godwin is now good to go for Week 3 versus the Denver Broncos after being sidelined Sunday for the Buccaneers' win over the Carolina Panthers. Mike Evans proved to be the primary beneficiary with 7 catches on 10 targets for 104 yards and a touchdown. None of the other receivers drew more than 3 targets and no one else on the team reached 50 receiving yards. Godwin's return should mean a reduced target share for Evans and fewer snaps for Scotty Miller and Justin Watson.
Godwin scored 10.9 FanDuel points in Week 1 against the New Orleans Saints. numberFire's models expect him to score 10.3 FanDuel points in Week 2 with 7.0 targets, 4.2 catches, and 58.3 yards. The Broncos currently rank 17th in pass defense, per our advanced metrics.
