Update: Giants' running back Saquon Barkley has suffered a torn ACL
New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley has suffered a torn ACL.
We'll know more details when the star back undergoes MRI's tomorrow, but initial and manual testing seems to have been enough to confirm the diagnosis of a torn ACL for Barkley. He's likely done for the season.
Dion Lewis became the Giants' go-to back after Barkley left the game, and will likely be a hot pickup on waiver wires this weekend. Expect the Giants to sign another back at some point this week, but Lewis appears to be the next man up for now.
