Update: Giants' Saquon Barkley (knee) ruled out of Sunday's game against Chicago
New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley will not return to Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears, the team announced.
Barkley was carted off the field for an apparent right knee injury, and it took less than 20 minutes for him to be ruled out. That's obviously not a good sign. There was an announcement that he was undergoing X-rays in the locker room, and now the team says he'll undergo further evaluation tomorrow. This certainly seems like a worst-case possibility for Barkley and the Giants. Dion Lewis is the only active running back in this game, as Wayne Gallman was inactive.
Before exiting, Barkley had 4 carries for 28 yards and 2.8 FanDuel points.
