A.J. Brown (knee) officially out for Titans in Week 2
Tennessee Titans wide receiver A.J. Brown (knee) will not play Week 2 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, head coach Mike Vrabel confirmed.
Brown has been diagnosed with a bone bruise in his knee that could keep him sidelined for multiple weeks. It's not clear when Brown suffered the injury but it could explain why he was limited to 5 catches and 38 yards on 8 targets in Week 1. Corey Davis (hamstring), Adam Humphries, and Jonnu Smith all stand to benefit from Brown's absence.
numberFire's models expect Davis to lead the Titans with 6.8 targets and 10.2 FanDuel points in Week 2 with a salary of $4,900. Humphries ($4,700) is projected for 5.7 targets and 8.2 FanDuel points while Smith ($4,900) is pegged for 5.4 targets and 8.8 FanDuel points. The Jaguars ranked 18th in pass defense in Week 1, according to numberFire's advanced metrics.
