Mike Williams (shoulder) out for Chargers Week 1
Wide receiver Mike Williams (shoulder) is listed as out for the Los Angeles Chargers in Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Williams came down hard on his shoulder in training camp and is expected to miss some time with the injury. His absence on Sunday's should lead to increased volume for the Chargers' established pass-catchers, like Keenan Allen, Austin Ekeler, and Hunter Henry.
Our models project this game to be a low-scoring affair, with an over/under of 41.5 points. Even so, Allen (WR20), Ekeler (RB9), and Henry (TE7) should all benefit from Williams' absence with a consolidated target share and are projected to finish among the top players at their positions this week against the Bengals' weak defense.
