J.K. Dobbins to have 'significant role' in Ravens' offense
Baltimore Ravens second-round rookie running back J.K. Dobbins will likely have a "significant role" in Baltimore's offense, per head coach John Harbaugh.
"Confidence plus coachability plus talent, that’s a pretty good combination and he’s got all of that," Harbaugh said of Dobbins. Mark Ingram is still the Ravens' starter, but Dobbins is going to factor in immediately for an offense that had the most prolific rushing attack in NFL history last season. He's currently being taken as the 31st running back off the board in PPR formats, per Fantasy Football Calculator.
numberFire's models project Dobbins for 151.7 carries, 646.2 rushing yards, 19.7 receptions (26.6 targets), 146.2 receiving yards, and 5.9 touchdowns this season. He's the RB34 in our preseason fantasy rankings. Ingram is projected for 180.4 touches with 923.1 total yards and is the RB24 in our rankings.
