Kansas City's Clyde Edwards-Helaire utilized as featured back during Friday's practice
Kansas City Chiefs running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire was featured during first-team run drills in Friday's practice.
According to head coach Andy Reid, the Chiefs hope to give their first round pick "a lot work with the first-team unit." If the rookie can display adequate pass blocking and an understanding of the playbook, expect Edwards-Helaire to handle RB1-like volume in his first season.
Edwards-Helaire's current yearly projection includes 239.6 rushing attempts for 1,042.4 yards and 8.4 touchdowns and 57.3 receptions for 443.3 yards and 3.8 touchdowns.
