Colts place T.Y. Hilton (hamstring) on active/NFI list

The Indianapolis Colts have placed T.Y. Hilton (hamstring) on the active/NFI list.

What It Means:

Hilton suffered a hamstring injury while training away from the team, though reports indicate that he avoided anything too serious. Still, hamstring injuries have a tendency to linger, so this will be a situation to monitor with the season approaching. If Hilton misses any time, it would open up a ton of opportunities for sophomore Parris Campbell and rookie Michael Pittman Jr. behind him on the depth chart.

2019 was almost easily Hilton's worst year of his career, with career lows in yards per game (50.1), yards per target (7.4), total yards (501) and games played (10). From that last stat, it should be clear that Hilton was injured for much of the season, and it's worth noting that the Colts had to transition to starting Jacoby Brissett under center with very little notice just before the season. Our models project Hilton to have a strong bounce-back season with Philip Rivers under center. He's currently our WR26 for the 2020 season and is projected to score 132.63 fantasy points.
