Bengals sign Joe Burrow to four-year deal worth $36.1 million
Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow has agreed to a deal with the team worth $36.1 million over four years, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Burrow, the first overall pick in April's draft, will receive a signing bonus of $23.88 million. Pending a physical, the Burrow era has officially begun in Cincinnati. Coming off a historic college football season in which he set the FBS record for passing touchdowns (60), Burrow will have to deal with a unique preseason as he prepares for his NFL debut against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 1. Burrow's presence should provide a boost to the entire Bengals' offense, including veteran A.J. Green, Tyler Boyd, and Joe Mixon, while potentially providing an opportunity for John Ross and rookie Tee Higgins to be productive. Our models currently project Burrow for 16.3 FanDuel points against the Chargers in Week 1.
Burrow is the QB26 in numberFire's preseason fantasy rankings. Our models project him for 4,085.6 yards, 22.3 touchdowns, and 14.0 interceptions with another 155.8 rushing yards and 1.4 touchdowns.
