Tampa Bay's Vita Vea (hand) will miss time during training camp
Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive tackle Vita Vea underwent a "minor surgical procedure" after suffering a hand injury.
Vea is expected to miss parts of training camp due to an "unspecified" hand injury sustained earlier this month. Expect the 25-year old to be ready by the regular season and ultimately play a part-time role for a Buccaneers' unit ranked first in run defense last season.
In 16 games in 2019, Vea produced 12 quarterback hits, 4 tackles for a loss, and 2.5 sacks.
