Chiefs sign quarterback Shea Patterson
The Kansas City Chiefs have signed former Michigan quarterback Shea Patterson.
Patterson was the final combine-invited player to sign with a team following the 2020 NFL Draft. Patterson was the top quarterback recruit out of high school in the 2016 class but failed to live up to the hype. He is a long shot to make the Chiefs' final roster come September.
Patterson split his four years in college between Ole Miss and Michigan, but failed to truly excel at either school. In his final season, Patterson managed a lackluster 56.2 completion percentage while throwing 23 touchdowns to 8 interceptions.
