Jabrill Peppers' option picked up by Giants
The New York Giants exercised safety Jabrill Peppers' fifth-year option for 2021.
Peppers appeared in 11 games in his first year with the Giants before being placed on injured reserve with a transverse process fracture in his back. He forced 3 fumbles last season and has recorded 1 interception each of his three years in the league. Peppers turns 25 in October.
Peppers graded 41st on Pro Football Focus overall out of 71 safeties to play at least 500 defensive snaps last season. He earned the third-highest pass-rushing grade out of that same group.
