Christian Covington signing with Broncos
The Broncos are signing defensive lineman Christian Covington, formerly of the Dallas Cowboys, to a 1-year, $1.75 million contract.
Covington set personal-highs with 481 snaps and six starts last season. He totaled 28 tackles, 1.0 sack, 4 tackles for loss, 3 quarterback hits, and 3 pressures. The 2015 sixth-round pick projects to also play a rotational role in Denver.
Covington graded 54th overall on Pro Football Focus out of 88 interior defenders to play at least 400 snaps last season.
