Washington selects defensive lineman Chase Young second overall
The Washington Redskins have selected Ohio State University defensive end / EDGE rusher Chase Young with the NFL Draft's 2020 second overall pick.
What It Means:
Young will further boost a Washington pass rush ranked tenth overall last season in sacks produced (46 total). Expect the 21-year old to start immediately as a three-down player.
In 34 games with Ohio State, Young recorded 30.5 sacks and 40.5 tackles for a loss.
