Matt Breida (ankle) 'may miss some time' for 49ers
San Francisco 49ers running back Matt Breida will get a second opinion on the ankle sprain he aggravated in Monday's Week 10 loss to the Seattle Seahawks, reports Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.
Pelissero adds that it appears to be a minor issue, but Breida "may miss some time to let it heal." The running back made an early exit in the second half after aggravating an injury that limited him in practice last week. Raheem Mostert will likely take over as Tevin Coleman's backfield mate if Breida does indeed miss game action. The 49ers have an advantageous matchup against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 11.
Breida is averaging 9.5 FanDuel points per game this season. The Cardinals are 24th in the NFL against the run (126.0 yards allowed per game).
