Seattle claims Josh Gordon off waivers from New England
Former New England Patriots wide receiver Josh Gordon has been claimed off waivers by the Seattle Seahawks on Friday afternoon.
Gordon was a starter in New England until he suffered a knee injury, which led to the team placing him on season-ending injured reserve. But it later came out that Gordon wasn't seriously hurt and was ready to play just a week later. New England then released Gordon off of IR, allowing any team to claim him, which the Seahawks did. It's a very confusing situation, but Gordon will be headed to Seattle, possibly to play right away.
In six games this season, Gordon has 20 catches for 287 yards and a touchdown.
