Dwayne Haskins officially making first career start for Washington versus Bills
Washington Redskins rookie quarterback Dwayne Haskins will start Sunday against the Buffalo Bills, interim head coach Bill Callahan confirmed.
Case Keenum is still in the concussion protocol, so Haskins will make his first career start on Sunday. The 15th overall pick has made two appearances this season and he didn't look ready in either of them. Things won't be any easier against a Bills defense that is 3rd-best in the NFL against the pass (194.4 yards per game). They've given up just 5 passing touchdowns and have 6 interceptions through seven games.
Quarterbacks are averaging 13.2 FanDuel points per game against the Bills, fifth-fewest in the NFL. Washington has the lowest implied total in Week 9 (13.75 points).
