Davante Adams (toe) practices again for Packers
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams (toe) practiced again Friday.
Adams practiced in pads on Thursday for the first time since suffering turf toe in Week 4 and it looks like he avoided a setback. Aaron Rodgers' number-one receiver appears on track to return for Sunday's Week 9 contest against the Los Angeles Chargers, though the Packers may opt to hold him out for one more game. They've gone 4-0 without him and are favored by 3.5 points on the road.
The Chargers are giving up the fifth-fewest receiving yards per game this season. The Packers have an implied total of 25.5 points in Week 9, third-highest on the main slate.
