Broncos' Drew Lock (thumb) 'not ready to go right now'
Denver Broncos second-round quarterback Drew Lock "is not ready to go right now," general manager John Elway said.
"We have to make sure that Drew is ready when he does get in there, if he does get in there. We’re still in the process of evaluating that. He is not ready to go right now, I will tell you that." Lock is eligible to return from injured reserve, but the Broncos need to decide if the rookie is worth using their last eligible return spot on. Joe Flacco will remain the starter for Week 8 against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.
The Broncos have the 26th passing offense in the NFL (207.9 per game). Flacco is the QB27 in numberFire's Week 8 fantasy rankings.
