Pittsburgh Steelers running back James Conner (quad) expects to play Week 8 against the Miami Dolphins on Monday night.
What It Means:
The Steelers were on bye last week and don't play until Monday this week, so Conner has had extended time off and still gets an extra day of rest. He should eat in a home matchup that favors the Steelers by 14.5 points over the winless Dolphins. Conner totaled over 115 yards in two of the last three games before the bye.
