Patriots' Michael Bennett suspended one game by team
New England Patriots defensive lineman Michael Bennett has been suspended by the team for one game.
Bennett has been disciplined for "conduct detrimental to the team," which, according to him, stems from a "philosophical disagreement" with a coach. It's certainly an odd situation, and not one very reminiscent of the 'Belichick Way' that has been the norm in New England since the coach's arrival. In any case, keep a close eye on his status as the issue gets resolved.
In six games this season, Bennett has four tackles and a trio of sacks.
