Phillip Dorsett (hamstring) DNP on Patriots injury estimate
New England Patriots wide receiver Phillip Dorsett (hamstring) was listed as a non-participant on Monday's estimated injury report for Thursday night's Week 6 game against the New York Giants.
The Patriots did not hold a practice, but they were required to provide a report of projected participation if they had. Dorsett's injury is reportedly minor, though the timing is suboptimal on a short week. He went down in the first quarter on Sunday and never returned. Jakobi Meyers could see an expanded role if Dorsett isn't cleared by Thursday.
The Giants are 30th in the NFL in receiving yards per game this season, so the Patriots' entire passing attack should thrive on Thursday night.
