Todd Gurley to play full snaps for Rams Week 1
Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley will not be on a snap count against the Carolina Panthers in Week 1, head coach Sean McVay said Thursday.
Gurley disappeared in the playoffs and didn't see any action this offseason due to what is believed to be a chronic knee issue, but the Rams continue to claim he's fine heading into the opener. It wouldn't be surprising if third-round pick Darrell Henderson cuts into Gurley's workload this season.
numberFire's models expect Gurley to rush 12.8 times for 56.1 yards and 0.53 touchdowns in Week 1, with 2.6 receptions for 24.1 yards and 0.16 scores. He's projected for 13.4 FanDuel points, at a cost of $7,600, and is the RB14 in our weekly fantasy rankings.
