Melvin Gordon 'just waiting for the call' from Chargers
Los Angeles Chargers holdout running back Melvin Gordon said he is "just waiting for the call" from the Chargers before returning.
Gordon continues to seek more money than the Chargers are currently offering and it doesn't sound like any progress has been made. The 26-year-old back is reportedly prepared to sit out regular season games if the two sides can't reach a deal before Week 1.
Taking into account a potential holdout to start the season, Gordon has dropped to the RB10 in numberFire's preseason fantasy rankings. He's currently projected for 943.5 rushing yards, 490.4 receiving yards, and 12.21 touchdowns.
