Jets' Le'Veon Bell says he's 'up for 500' touches
New York Jets running back Le'Veon Bell said he's "up for 500 [touches]" this season.
Bell had a league-high 406 touches in his final season in Pittsburgh, before holding out for the duration of 2018. On the one hand, he is joining a Jets offense that is not necessarily loaded with weapons and had a whole year to recover from his 321-carry 2017. On the other hand, he has five years of wear and tear on his body, over which he has racked up 1,635 touches (including the playoffs).
Our models project Bell to rush for 1,245.94 and 7.78 touchdowns on 276.86 and catch 64.82 passes for 596.14 yards.
