C.J. Anderson expected back this week for Broncos
Denver Broncos running back C.J. Anderson (ankle) is expected to play in Week 15 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to head coach Gary Kubiak.
Anderson was active but didn't play a snap against the Oakland Raiders in the Broncos' Week 14 loss. Anderson will likely lead the Broncos' in snaps in Week 15 after Ronnie Hillman and Juwan Thompson were largely ineffective in Week 14, managing 28 total rushing yards on 15 carries between the two in what was an extremely friendly matchup.
Thompson finished Week 14 with -1.98 Rushing Net Expected Points (NEP) on five carries while Hillman earned -5.26 Rushing NEP on 12 totes. Among the three backs, Hillman has earned the most Rushing NEP per carry this season while Anderson is second.
