Broncos' C.J. Anderson will be limited if he plays at all
Denver Broncos running back C.J. Anderson (ankle) will be "very limited" if he plays Sunday against the Oakland Raiders, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports.
A sore ankle kept him out of practice this week. Ronnie Hillman has already been announced as the starter so it sounds like Denver is preparing to be without Anderson. Fantasy owners have no reason to use Anderson even if he plays. Backup Juwan Thompson should see more run than usual on Sunday.
Hillman currently ranks just 59th in Total Net Expected Points (NEP) among running backs with at least 60 opportunities through Week 13. The Denver running game gets a nice matchup in Week 14 against the Raiders, who sit 27th in Adjusted Defensive Rushing NEP per play.
