Washington expects Alex Smith to miss 2019, per report
The Washington Redskins are expecting quarterback Alex Smith to miss all of 2019 with a leg injury, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
What It Means:
Smith broke his leg and the team will act as if he will not play in the upcoming year. Rapoport said if he does play, "they will be pleasantly surprised."
He threw for 2,180 yards with 10 touchdowns and 5 interceptions in 2018.
