Bengals' Vontaze Burfict's career could be at risk due to concussions
Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict's career could be in jeopardy after his last concussion, per ESPN team reporter Katherine Terrell.
Burfict suffered the seventh documented concussion of his career in Week 16, as well as his second within the past month. Terrell adds that it's possible he endured other concussions that were never reported. The 28-year-old linebacker's performance took a dip this season and it's fair to wonder if Burfict has played his last snap in the NFL.
Burfict recorded 33 tackles (21 solo) and failed to create a turnover over seven games this season.
