Christian McCaffrey gains 120 yards, throws 50-yard score in Panthers' loss
Carolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey rushed 15 times for 53 yards and caught 8 passes (11 targets) for 67 yards and threw a 50-yard touchdown pass in a 12-9, Week 15 loss to the New Orleans Saints on Monday night.
In a game featuring Drew Brees and Cam Newton, McCaffrey was the only player with a touchdown pass, as he hit a wide-open Chris Manhertz on a 4th-and-2 trick play in the opening quarter. With Newton playing with a bum shoulder, McCaffrey should continue to be the focal point of the Panthers' offense in Week 16 versus the Atlanta Falcons.
C-Mac scored 22.0 FanDuel points in Week 15. Looking ahead, he's the top-rated running back in numberFire's Week 16 fantasy rankings and projected for 24.8 FanDuel points, at a cost of $9,300.
