Carson Wentz cruises to 306 yards, 2 touchdowns as Eagles wreck Washington
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz completed 27-of-39 passes for 306 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 1 interception in a 28-13, Week 13 win over the Washington Redskins on Monday.
What It Means:
It was an uninspiring effort, but Wentz finished with a fine line and easily outplayed fill-in counterpart Mark Sanchez after Colt McCoy broke his leg in the first half. He also topped 300 yards after failing to do so in the previous two games. The Eagles visit the Dallas Cowboys next Sunday in a matchup for first place in the NFC East.
