DeSean Jackson (thumb) will not play for Buccaneers Week 13
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver DeSean Jackson (thumb) is out for Week 13 against the Carolina Panthers, head coach Dirk Koetter said.
Koetter said he's not sure if Jackson will be back in Week 14. He was unable to catch passes at practice on Wednesday and Thursday. Chris Godwin and Adam Humphries both get a boost with D-Jax on the bench.
Jackson is averaging 11.6 FanDuel points through 11 games, with 40 receptions (70 targets) for 750 yards and 4 touchdowns. However, he has just 13 catches (33 targets) for 198 yards and 1 touchdown with Jameis Winston under center this season.
