Patriots activate Rex Burkhead (neck) to 53-man roster

New England Patriots running back Rex Burkhead was activated off the Injured Reserve and placed on the 53-man roster.

What It Means:

After suffering a neck injury in Week 3, Burkhead was moved to the active roster from the Injured Reserve on Monday and is now eligible to play against the Minnesota Vikings. In a somewhat crowded backfield, Burkhead should play primarily on special teams and as a backup to James White and Sony Michel.

Burkhead currently averages 4.4 FanDuel points per game this season.
