Cardinals place middle linebacker Josh Bynes (thumb) on injured reserve
Arizona Cardinals middle linebacker Josh Bynes has been placed on season-ending injured reserve with a thumb injury.
Bynes was an every-down player and the Cardinals' most consistent linebacker, so it's a significant loss for the defense. Head coach Steve Wilks said he is "hopeful" Deone Bucannon (chest) will return in Week 13 versus the Green Bay Packers after sitting out Sunday.
Bynes finishes with 75 tackles (64 solo), 2 sacks, 5 pass deflections, and 1 scoop-and-score in 11 games for Arizona this season.
