Ryan Mathews (concussion) still not practicing for Eagles
Philadelphia Eagles running back Ryan Mathews (concussion) is not practicing Tuesday.
Unlike last week, Mathews is on the field observing practice, which is at least a step in the right direction. Mathews will need to return to practice by Thursday to have a real shot to play this week.
Mathews has shined in his first year with the Eagles. Among running backs with at least 75 rushing attempts, Mathews ranks third in Rushing Net Expected Points per play, trailing only Giovani Bernard and Thomas Rawls.
