Alex Smith struggles mightily for Washington in loss to Saints
Washington Redskins quarterback completed 23-of-39 passes for 275 yards, 0 touchdowns, and 1 interception in a 43-19, Week 5 loss to the New Orleans Saints on Monday night.
Smith added 7 rushing yards and a touchdown on the ground but he was overwhelmingly awful as a thrower of the football. The 34-year-old hasn't thrown for more than 300 yards in any game this season. Washington returns home to face the Carolina Panthers in Week 6.
Smith scored 14.7 FanDuel points in the loss. He is currently the QB13 in numberFire's Week 6 fantasy rankings.
