Jaguars' Austin Seferian-Jenkins (core) placed on injured reserve, eligible to return
Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins (core muscle) has been placed on injured reserve, head coach Doug Marrone said.
Seferian-Jenkins has been dealing with a core muscle injury lately and he appeared to aggravate it during the Jaguars' loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. Marrone said it will require surgery but that the tight end could potentially return this season. Niles Paul caught 7 passes for 65 yards in the second half after Seferian-Jenkins left.
ASJ was averaging 4.1 FanDuel points per game, with 11 catches on 20 targets for 90 yards and 1 touchdown.
